Student Parking

Parking Information for 2025-26

Senior reserved parking will be $95.   Seniors will choose the particular lot and park in a numbered spot.

General parking (available to seniors, juniors, and eventually sophomores) will be $50.

Students with a reserved parking permit may only park in their reserved numbered space.

Students with a general parking permit may only park in a non-numbered space in their designated lot. Students will select Lot 1 (back), Lot 2 (gym), or Lot 3 (PAC/9th grade center). You will not be able to move parking lots once purchased.

Parking Registration Process

1. Pay online (open now) through Pay N Go Parking Pay N Go

2. Register on the parking registration link Parking Registration (You must be signed in to google with your Katy ISD account.) You will need your driver's license, insurance, pay n go receipt, and vehicle information.

3. Print out the Parking Agreement.

4. A parent/guardian will sign the parking agreement, and the student will initial next to each statement. Bring the parking agreement to the designated time and place. After school starts, you will bring it to the parking office (room 2525) during lunches or after school to finalize your parking purchase and pick up sticker.

 

Parking Spot Painting

 

After school begins, permits may be purchased during lunch or after school. No permits will be sold before school or between classes.

**It is recommended to also bring your license and proof of insurance in case there is a problem with your upload.

Students wishing to drive on the first day of school MUST purchase a parking permit before school begins. Students must purchase a parking permit at least one day before driving on campus. No parking permits will be sold on school days before school.

FAQs

I can’t make it to the parking sales before school. Can someone else get my sticker for me?

Your parent/guardian can get a sticker for you, but friends cannot.

I only have my learners permit but I’ll get my license soon. Can I purchase the sticker now?

No. You have to have your driver’s license to receive a sticker.

My car has a temporary plate. Can I still register it?

Yes. Please list the temporary plate number on the registration form. When you get your permanent plate number, report it to the parking office.

 Ticketing/Booting

Students are NOT allowed to park on campus without purchasing a parking permit. SLHS security guards will monitor the parking lots.

Students parked on campus without a valid student parking permit or in an undesignated parking area/manner will receive a warning ticket AND disciplinary actions.  The second offense will result in a $25 fine and disciplinary actions. The third offense will result in the car being booted.  The fee for boot removal is $75 and will not be removed until payment is received.

Temporary Tags

If a student must drive a vehicle other than the one registered on campus, they must request a Temporary Parking Tag from the Parking office in room 2525 on the day before they drive a different vehicle. They will need to provide the License Plate number of the vehicle they are driving. Temporary permits are issued for one day at a time unless a written request from a parent, which includes the length of time the permit is needed, is presented.
